Originally a finca (farm/ranch), La Cazalla stands seemingly-alone in a scenic fertile valley, just 10 minutes' drive from the historical and fascinating town of Ronda. The main house and surrounding buildings of this luxury holiday rental blend naturally into the landscape, having been built around the native rock (see photos of our living areas within the main house). With a total of six bedrooms, our home is perfect for families, friends and group activities for up to 12 people looking for a private villa in Andalusia.

We grow our own organic olives, apricots, pears, figs, citrus fruits, walnuts and almonds, quince, persimmon, blackberries, mulberries and raspberries (making delicious jams/jellies!) and lavender (scented sachets under your pillow are renowned for aiding relaxation and a good night's sleep). 

The main house is elegant, cool and spacious, with many different areas for a large group to spread out and relax. Discover three tastefully-furnished living areas on split levels, a kitchen and a dining room, providing plenty of space for your family and friends to read, play card games, watch a film or listen to music. Sleep soundly in the five double or twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms containing beautiful mosaic tiled walk-in showers and adjustable mood lighting. And yes, there is WiFi!

Our well-supplied kitchen was designed for a professional chef and provides all the cooking utensils and basic pantry items you need to prepare meals for a large group, such as:

• Mobile Bose music system with wireless connectivity

• A games corner and hundreds of books

Outside Areas

Our Roman-inspired pool is only heated naturally by the sun, but it is surrounded by fragrant lavender and stunning views.  For your comfort there are:

• 12 sun loungers

• Garden seats and a table

• Shaded areas

• Gas barbeque

• Cold freshwater showers fed straight from our spring

and many different terraces surround the house, with areas for relaxing, dining, snoozing and admiring the view.  You will also find a selection of outdoor games, such as boules and badminton.

There are so many different spots to choose from, you’ll be hard-pressed deciding what to do!

• Follow our Nature Trail all around our 13 acres 

• Read in the lounge chairs on the terrace

• Dine under the vine-covered pergola

• Search for tadpoles in the stream

• Stroll along to the 12th Century ‘alberca’ ('water cistern')

We recommend taking a drink up to the old threshing circle and watch the sun change the colours of the gorge from orange to pink. If you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of the deer as the owls start hooting.
