Something prospective guests frequently ask before confirming their booking is if there is anything to do in Ronda. The answer is always a resounding “Yes!” and we direct them to this blog where they can discover articles with recommendations of things to do in Ronda, details of adventure sports and activities, hiking, bird watching… we could go on and on. However, what is particularly tantalising is how many parties, celebrations and festivals there are going in Andalusia (around 3,000 a year!). Let’s have a look at at one that’s coming up soon: the Ronda International Guitar Festival.
September in Andalucía: the kids go back to school, the flight prices fall, but the temperatures remain in the low 30s (high 80s Fahrenheit) and there’s still 9 hours of sunshine a day. For those seeking a late-summer getaway, Andalucía is an excellent low-cost, sunshine-soaked destination, and there’s always plenty going on in and around Ronda.
For anyone lucky enough to be in Ronda at the beginning of September, the annual Feria is a fantastic cultural event, and it doesn’t have to be all about the bullfighting. The caballeros all over town and the carriage exhibition in the historic bull ring, are wonderful to see…not to mention a whole town intent on La Fiesta!!
