Originally a finca (farm/ranch), La Cazalla stands seemingly-alone in a scenic fertile valley, just 10 minutes’ drive from the historical and fascinating town of Ronda.
The main house and surrounding buildings of this luxury holiday rental blend naturally into the landscape, having been built around the natural rock (see photos of our living areas within the main house). With a total of six bedrooms, our home is perfect for families, friends and group activities for up to 12 people looking for a private villa in Andalusia.
La Cazalla is fully equipped with all the comforts you would expect from a luxury villa rental, but more importantly all the extra little things that will make you feel at home as well. We want our guests to feel like they are staying in a secluded, private retreat but where they are completely at home.
The main house is elegant, cool and spacious, with many different areas for 12 people to spread out and relax. Discover three tastefully-furnished living areas on split levels, a kitchen and a dining room, providing plenty of space for your family and friends to read, play card games, watch a film or listen to music. Sleep soundly in the five double or twin bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms containing beautiful mosaic tiled walk-in showers and adjustable mood lighting. In addition, La Cazalla also has the perfect place for members of your group who need or desire a space of their own. El Nido, is a large air-conditioned private suite attached to the main house. The suite has its own entrance, pretty terrace and bathroom (with the same mosaic tiled walk-in shower as the main house), has its own kettle, coffee maker, fridge, TV and wireless speaker. And yes, the whole house has fast WiFi!
We had a great week at La Cazalla de Ronda with our whole family. The house is fully equipped and the rooms are really beautiful. Around the house there are lots of cozy seating areas where you can read, but also just look around to enjoy the beautiful views. And the pool is actually the most wonderful place around the house.
We stayed at La Cazalla and also celebrated our wedding here last July. From the moment we arrived, Lisa, Mark, and their lovely dogs made us feel incredibly welcome. They were friendly, approachable, and eager to ensure everything was perfect for our stay and our special day.
The location itself is stunning, with picturesque views that made for the most beautiful wedding backdrop.
A wonderful place for a relaxed, extended family holiday in the sun. We had a fantastic week at La Cazalla. The house is cool and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and ensuite bedrooms. It's perfect for a multi-generational holiday, as there's lots of space and games for children, multiple seating areas indoor and outdoor, plus a separate annex for those who want more privacy.
This was our second stay at La Cazalla. Rather than it being a family holiday we went with our friends - 5 couples. It was just as good as last time . La Cazalla is a beautiful space with great bedrooms and amenities and the outside area from the different seating areas to the pool are all special. We had in house catering , the fabulous yoga teacher and a private flamenco show.
An absolute gem hidden in the valleys of Ronda. The villa is beautiful, the gardens and surroundings are epic, starting with the smell of lavender as you drive down to the incredible views of the valley and sounds of birds. Every little detail is thought of and made stunning from outside to inside and Lisa and Mark are absolute legends who we love to bits.
It’s time for an update to our original ‘Top 10’! We take our research very seriously (of course!), gather opinions from friends and feedback from our guests about the most popular bars, cafés and restaurants in Ronda and the nearby villages. We couldn’t possibly limit ourselves to just 10, so we’ve expanded our list to our favourite 25, so that there’s something for everyone and every occasion.
♫ “All the leaves are brown, and the sky is gr—” ♫
Oh. Wait. The sky isn’t grey and not all of the leaves are brown, because this is Ronda in Southern Spain.
